A discipleship pathway for life.
The Grove is City Pointe Church's spiritual formation membership course designed to help people know who Jesus is, live as Jesus is, and do as Jesus says together.
Forming disciples for life together.
The Grove is more than a class, it's a pathway into deeper discipleship and meaningful community at CityPointe Church. This guide communicates the church's mission, belief, values, and practices in a clear, beautiful, and accessible way.
The design needed to feel grounded, hopeful, and approachable, something that would work in a classroom or on a kitchen table in everyday life. The result is a clean, modern, and intentional design that reflects the steady growth and rooted life found in Christ.
The Meaning Behind the Mark
The Grove is built around the idea that lasting spiritual formation happens in an environment of closeness, nourishment, and sustained growth.
A grove does not flourish by accident. Trees grow together, rooted in soil that provides the water and nutrients necessary for life. Over time, healthy roots produce visible growth—and ultimately, good fruit.
The logo reflects that same movement. The tree represents a life becoming deeply rooted and continually formed, while the surrounding landscape suggests the environment in which that growth is sustained. The rising sun points toward renewal, hope, and continued transformation.
Together, the imagery communicates the purpose of The Grove: to help people become rooted in Christ, nourished by Scripture and Christian community, and formed into lives that bear good fruit.
