Designer. Teacher. Ministry Leader.

My work sits at the intersection of design, theology, and communication, bringing visual clarity to ideas that matter.

I make ideas visible.

About Me

For more than fifteen years, I’ve worked at the intersection of ministry and design, developing visual identities, publications, sermon series, communications campaigns, and digital experiences for churches and organizations. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media and Design from Southeastern University, and that foundation, combined with years of practical ministry experience, has shaped the way I approach creative work. Good design is more than making something attractive; it should help people understand an idea, recognize what matters, and remember it. My background in biblical studies has only deepened that conviction, and I’m especially drawn to work where form and meaning belong together, where typography, imagery, structure, and storytelling reinforce what is actually being communicated.

About My Biblical Scholarship

Design informed by serious study.

I earned an M.A. in Biblical Languages from Liberty University, graduating with High Distinction, and my academic work continues to center on the close relationship between language, theology, and the shape of the biblical text. My master’s thesis, Tracing חֶסֶד and ἔλεος: A Prototype Theory and Componential Analysis of Covenantal Loyalty and Divine Mercy Across the Pentateuch, Septuagint, Targums, and New Testament, examined how theological meaning develops across Hebrew, Greek, and related textual traditions. I’m currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Bible Exposition at Liberty University, where my research continues to engage biblical theology, exegesis, and the literary shape of Scripture. My academic publications and university records appear under my legal name, Jarritt Tadlock.

About My Ministry Experience

Made in the life of the church.

I began ministry in 2007 as a youth director, and since then my work has grown through a range of pastoral and creative roles—from creative ministry and associate leadership to overseeing worship gatherings, communications, and the broader Sunday experience. I’ve served in settings ranging from church plants to some of the fastest-growing churches in America, and that breadth of experience has shaped the way I approach ministry design. I’m not designing for churches from the outside; much of my creative work has been formed inside the weekly rhythms of sermon preparation, worship gatherings, communications, discipleship, volunteers, and the constant challenge of helping real people understand and respond to what matters. Because of that, I believe church design has to do more than look beautiful; it has to serve the message and move beyond Sunday.

About My Library

A library built for the work.

My personal theological library now includes more than 2,000 volumes and continues to grow, with a focus on biblical studies, theology, biblical languages, commentaries, hermeneutics, and ministry. It supports my academic research, teaching, writing, and creative work—and reflects a larger conviction behind this portfolio: the best creative work begins with substance. This collection is becoming the foundation for the Central Florida Theological Library (CFTL), a comprehensive theological reference library I'm building in Lakeland to serve scholars, pastors, students, and thoughtful Christians across central Florida.
